Graphic Designer/Artist

We are looking for a special person who can design custom graphics and revise existing materials as needed for use in media outlets such as social media, magazines, television, advertising and signage.

Typical activities may include:

  • Liaison between with committee members to determine their requirements and deadlines
  • Managing USPSF projects from typesetting through to design, print and production
  • Working with committee members, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
  • Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  • Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

Key skills for Graphic Designers:

Social Media Marketing Manager

The Social Media Marketing Manager creates, defines, and produces engaging social campaigns in support of our brand, events, and initiatives with our client. This person must have a passion for driving consumer engagement and loyalty through social channels. This person will create relevant and targeted campaigns to increase our reach, engagement, and conversion metrics. The ideal candidate will be a creative, data-driven marketer who is passionate about Sports, thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance organization and excels in consumer engagement marketing.

Typical activities may include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media program strategy, including, but not limited to, creating/maintaining a social media playbook, brand voice guidelines on social sites, managing a response protocol, identifying new platforms to leverage, etc.
  • Serve as the primary advocate and driver of all social media initiatives
  • Creation and management of a social media calendar
  • Manage and oversee sponsored ads and paid media campaigns on social media networks
  • Develop a testing strategy to continually optimize social performance
  • Manage brand reputation and product presence across social sites to engage consumers and drive customer loyalty
  • Monitor industry trends in social media and marketing, appropriately applying this knowledge to the social media marketing strategy
  • Work with 3rd parties to develop and execute social campaigns through other social media sites
  • Monitor and respond to related social conversations and collaborate internally across departments to ensure that critical issues are handled in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with other marketing tasks and miscellaneous projects as necessary

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Social Media role
  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or related area of study, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experience in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter Advertising and websites a plus
  • Detail and deadline oriented, with hands-on experience work with major brands or corporations
  • Ability to work within in a cross-functional organization and manage complex production schedules
  • Superior project management skills with an ability to interact, manage, and motivate others to achieve high levels of productivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, analytical, organized, and detail-oriented

Fundraising Coordinator

A Fundraising Coordinator is a dynamic and creative fundraiser responsible for securing new sponsors and income, executing fundraising programs and events, developing relationship and expanding USPSF’s business in the community. Reports to the Executive Committee. The Fundraising Coordinator does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Typical activities may include:

  • Execute individual business plan to exceed revenue goals.
  • Create fundraising opportunities through various business development techniques including prospecting, targeted follow-up and new lead generation.
  • Leverage existing business while continually generating new funds.
  • Deliver organized, structured, and persuasive presentations, using effective written and verbal communication.
  • Assist in identifying, recruiting, and training temporary coordinators and volunteers.
  • Manage fiscal accountability for significant income requirements. Provide timely and accurate projections to Executive Committee.
  • Oversee and participate in the execution of major fundraising programs.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as needed.

Key skills for Fundraising Coordinator:

  • Professionalism: Work well in a fast-paced environment; treat others with respect and consideration; accept responsibility for own actions. Understand business implications of decisions, align work with strategic goals, complete administrative tasks and develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Flexibility: Able to multitask in a changing work environment. Manage competing demands and unexpected events. Willing to change approach to best fit the situation.
  • Dependability: Follows instructions, takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments.


  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Non-Profit Management preferred) and two+ years’ experience in sales, corporate development or fundraising or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
